others i love

my family is the most wonderful and i couldn't live without them. (they have given me immense love and support towards following my talents.) my new nephews and niece who are adorable in every way. my half-alien, half-ewok cat, "beans"... who has been with me through thick and thin. my friends who pick up the phone to listen to my silliness and make me laugh. my teachers who have kept me learning and growing as an artist and have taught me to be my own teacher...

what to expect

you have to wonder what exactly to expect on a photo shoot... I honestly love to capture people's natural personalities. we will pick a few beautiful locations and pretty much just play. i know it isn't always a favorite for some people to be in front of a lens, honestly i am one of them! this is where my personality, direction, knowledge of lighting & what makes people feel comfortable fits in. i love to escape and get people out of their daily elements. it's hard to think about work you have to do next week when you are being adventurous and sticking your feet in the sand, or climbing up a hillside with an amazing view... eventually the camera fades away and i am just there to capture the moment. so don't be nervous ;) we will most definitely have fun...

when i have free time

i love being in the studio with my amazing and talented friend, richard salas, who is a product and people photographer ;) i have the wonderful opportunity to work on photo shoots with models, graphic designers, stylists and professionals in the product and apparel industry. i love having variety in life and learning new things. being with the best in the industry is a great way to keep connected, learn new ideas & have fun at the same time. i also shoot for culinary magazines. i have fallen in love with shooting food... there is such an art to it and there is nothing better than a photograph making you want to eat it! last but not least, i love to focus on travel... my passion & craving for exploring is what originally brought me to photography.
